On September 18, China's first brain and spine surgery robot--X1000 series, developed and produced independently by Sinovation, an enterprise served by ZGC Development Group, was approved by National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).

Being the world's first comprehensive system with three functions of brain surgery robot positioning, brain surgery navigation and spinal surgery robot positioning, this robot is a major achievement of China's self-developed surgical robot industry. It marks that China’s neurosurgical robots are more widely recognized in terms of availability and application level, and able to compete with their counterparts from Europe and the United States at the world’s technological forefront.
