On December 28, the South Central Axis International Culture and Technology Park fully opened. It is the first urban renewal industrial park jointly developed by the Fengtai District government and the ZGC Development Group.

With a total construction area of 195,000 square meters, the Culture and Technology Park integrates diversified business formats, including nearly 100,000 square meters of high-quality industrial space, more than 20,000 square meters of industrial supportive service facilities, and about 500 talent apartments. The park will become the “innovative community” with the best location advantage, the highest degree of professionalism and the most complete industrial supporting facilities in Fengtai District.  

The west building of its Phase I has been put into use in 2022; the Phase II of the Park has now also opened, with the project construction coming to an end.

Focusing on industries dominated by the next-generation information technology and characterized by the meta-universe, the Park will open more characteristic spaces and attract more specialized and sophisticated firms and Star Projects to settle in. It will facilitate the development and deep integration of innovation chain, industrial chain, capital chain and talent chain, creating a strong industrial atmosphere for the industrial agglomeration and accelerated development of the South Central Axis region.

At the event site, a ceremony was also held for the park’s one-stop industrial service platform to sign agreements with more than 30 industrial ecological partners, including ZGC Construction Investment, ZGC Financial Services, ZGC Sci-tech Services, Zhongguancun Capital and etc. They will help the park to build an innovative service ecosystem with balanced spatial structure, perfect functional layout and a variety of business formats.  

In addition, 25 enterprises, such as Zhongke Huiju, Guanbang Open Source and Yiben Biology, also signed settlement contracts with the park on site. The park has already accommodated more than 150 firms.

This event also saw an official release of the South Central Axis Meta-universe Industrial Service Platform, which covers three major systems: a digital human bionic construction system based on multi-modal large models, a refined high-level motion capture system relying on cutting-edge equipment and technical support, and an XR virtual shooting system that combines infinitely expanding scenes with real people or digital human.
