On October 15, the preparatory meeting of the National General Artificial Intelligence Industry Production-education Integration Community (hereafter referred to as “Community”) was held in Beijing.

Led by some enterprises and high-level universities, colleges and vocational schools, the cross-region production-education integration community consists of various schools, research institutions, upstream and downstream firms and etc., aiming to gather industrial and educational resources for personnel training, technological innovation and social services and so on.

The Community is designed to seize the major development opportunities derived from general and generative AI, covering a wide range of technical fields, including intelligent interaction, document production, code generation, decision-making assistance, knowledge management, translation, graphic and design generation, video generation, virtual person, 3D model generation, autonomous driving application and others.  It integrates all aspects of production and education resources, based on training innovative and skilled personnel in data service, algorithm development and application, software testing, large model consulting, deployment and debugging.

Under the guidance of China Institutie of Electronic Technology Standardization, the Community co-writes industrial development analysis reports and the industrial talent demand reports and etc. The members cooperate on building a supply-demand connecting mechanism for production and education, training talents, conducting technical research, developing teaching resource and equipment, and designing programme to improve practical ability. Their goal is to achieve efficient docking between schools and enterprises, serve the deep integration of production and education, support the industrial development, and strengthen international exchanges and cooperation.
