In the recently announced “2023 Characteristic Industrial Cluster for SMEs” list, several industrial clusters co-built by the ZGC Development Group were identified as National “SMEs Characteristic Industrial Cluster”, including Beijing Haidian District IC Design Industrial Cluster with ZGC IC Design Park as the main body, Beijing Daxing Medical Device Industrial Cluster centering around ZGC Medical Device Park, and Beijing Fangshan Safety Protection Equipment Industrial Cluster co-established by ZGC Emerging Industry Frontier Technology Research Institute.

Industrial clustering is conducive to dissemination, flow and sharing of information, technology, equipment and other resources across SMEs. It also plays a huge role in improving intra-industrial synergy efficiency, reducing business operating costs, improving innovation and development capacity of mass entrepreneurship and innovation entities, and promoting optimization and upgrading of the industrial chain.
