Recently, ZGC Industrial Internet Industrial Park, a member under the ZGC Development Group, has officially obtained LEED V4 gold pre-certification certificate for its core and shell systems, marking another solid step of the industrial park towards green and sustainable development. 

Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design Building Rating System (LEED™), established and implemented by the Green Building Council of the United State, is considered as the most perfect and influential evaluation standard in all kinds of building environmental protection evaluation standards, green building evaluation standards, and building sustainability evaluation standards across the world.  

LEED certification is designed to minimize negative impacts on the environment and occupants, symbolizing vanguard, innovation, environmental protection and social responsibility.  

The LEED certification for ZGC Industrial Internet Industrial Park is undoubtedly an inspiring thing! According to the evaluation metrics of the LEED certification, the project puts focus on site selection and transport, sustainable use of land, water-use efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, interior environment, innovation and design.

For example, the sponge structure design of green space around the project adopts concave green space, permeable pavement and rainwater recovery and other technologies to reduce runoff and improve quality of reclaimed water. At the same time, the indoor use of first-class water-efficiency water-saving devices can effectively reduce indoor water consumption and really realize the purpose of water-saving.

In addition, with respect of energy conservation and environmental protection, the project is planned and designed strictly in accordance with the domestic energy conservation standards. Both the main body of the building and its various systems are designed to reduce environmental pollution and economic harm caused by excessive use of energy.
