An opening ceremony of Beijing Garden Expo Digital Economy Industrial Park was held in Beijing Garden Expo Park on Dec. 4. More than 30 people, representatives of Zhongguancun Digital Economy Industry Alliance and potential enterprise clients and various media, attended the ceremony.

The Digital Economy Industrial Park, constructed and operated by Fengke Construction, a member of the Group, is located in Zhongguancun Fengtai Science and Technology Park. It is close to the West Fifth Ring Road, besides the Yongding River and Beijing Garden Expo Park, only half an hour’s drive to Beijing West Railway Station, Beijing South Railway Station and Fengtai Railway station, and less than an hour’s drive to Daxing International Airport.

The planned area of the project is about 1.34 million square meters in total. In accordance with the concepts of digital innovation, city vitality and low-carbon ecosystem, the project plans to build a digital technology enterprise community of nearly 700,000 square meters, encouraging the development of enterprise clusters by attracting enterprises in the sectors of next-generation Internet, digital finance, intelligent manufacturing, digital energy, digital travel, digital medical care, future 6G network and so on, to create a new industrial landmark.

At the same time, the digital economy industrial park will build an open platform for the digital industry to create a distinctive collaborative innovation system, accelerating the growth of start-ups and empowering firms related to digital economy to innovate and development.

In addition, the park has planned 220,000 square meters of residential space and 330,000 square meters of commercial supporting facilities, so as to achieve integrated development of the industry and city. And the park has also allocated plots for medical and educational facilities, providing first-class services for talents in the park as well as in the region.  

It is worth mentioning that the project is an important part of Changxindian Eco-City, the first “green ecological demonstration district” approved by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

To build a zero-carbon park and pursue the goal of “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality”, the project integrates various technologies such as comprehensive utilization of energy, ecological environment and water treatment, with 13 ecological indicators qualified.

Through streamlined building layout and ventilation corridors, the industrial park reduces wind resistance, facilitates heat exchange and pollutant diffusion, to alleviate urban heat island effect and air pollution.

The ecological landscape belts of streets, ventilation corridors and courtyards, as well as parks, squares and other parts in the project will be made into open ecological space to give residents a green sensory experience.
