On June 1, Beijing released its first Patent IP Securitization Product with an intent to raise 1 billion yuan.

This product has made innovation in basic assets, trading methods, guarantee modes, credit enhancement and so on, including secondary licensing of IP rights, guarantees by ZGC Sci-tech Guarantee and etc.

It is designed to further exploit the firms’ IP value, facilitate integrated development of technological and capital elements, enable the financing function of intangible assets, and expand the financing channels of sci-tech innovation firms. It is also a reflection of the market’s recognition of the value the firms’ IP.
