On April 15, the “Datang Gaohong General V2X Testing Base”, jointly built by Datang Gaohong and Hefei ZGC Collaborative Industry Development Co., was officially launched. It will settle down in ZGC Collaborative Innovation Park, having received full support from both the government of Baohe District and the Management Committee of Economic Development Zone.

The Testing Base will be a comprehensive test platform that integrates autonomous driving test, V2X connected vehicle test, information security test for Internet of Vehicles and cutting-edge technology research. The platform will provide test technology R&D, test services, test evaluation, high-precision map, positioning, cloud control platform among other services. Meanwhile, to fully meeting the test and verification demands of intelligent connected vehicles, the Testing Base will also provide 34 standard test scenarios and 84 vehicle-road coordination scenarios proposed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security and the Standardization Administration of China.

On the platform, Datang Gaohong and other enterprises in the park could test cloud-control platforms, RSU, OBU intellisense devices, and individual functions and performance of devices.

The Testing Base can use the V2X system to test sensors placed at intersections, analysis equipment, fusion algorithms, as well as to test the performance of connected vehicles and related equipment in V2V, V2I, V2N and other scenarios. It can also verify the performance of integrated system, as well as application scenarios and performance of the smart vehicle network system.
