ZGC-Western Beijing AI Technology Park will Begin the Construction of Its First Phase in 2021

The first phase of ZGC-Western Beijing AI Technology Park (“AI Park”), covering an area of 55 hectares with a total construction area of 80,000 square meters, will start construction this year.

The first phase will focus on carrying the R&D function of the ZGC Science City in the two major industries, i.e., the new generation IT technology, and biology & health. After completion, it plans to provide space for pilot test and small-scale pilot production, and to offer corresponding office services. It is designed to provide a standardized, high-quality AI industrialization base, and create a high-end service platform for AI and its industrialization in Beijing.

As a “model room” for industrial transformation and upgrading in Mentougou, the Pilot Zone of AI Park has been in operation for one year, with 15 enterprises located in it, and accumulated plenty of operational experience.

Unlike most industrial parks that are usually designed in advance and built according to the drawings, AI Park is built on demand. As long as conforming to the overall planning and design style, customers are allowed to design their own work site, including layout, area, story height, load-bearing and so on.

In addition to the mode of “build on demand”, the soft service model explored by the Pilot Zone will also be duplicated in the main park.

Relying on the ZGC Development Group, the Pilot Zone provides nearly 50 specific services in three categories, including space supporting service, basic industrial service, value-added industrial service for companies located in the park.

Its operational team has become one of the first batch of stewards of “Golden Seed Steward Service Center”, providing firms with one-stop butler services and comprehensive sci-tech services, such as space operation, Fintech and other services.
