In the afternoon of December 3, China Microelectronics Innovation Center unveiled its nameplate in IC PARK. It is another effort of IC PARK to expand footprints of cooperative innovation after establishing a series of innovation centers in South Korea, Australia, Europe and Israel and so on.  

It is both an opportunity and a challenge for the two sides work together to build China Microelectronics Innovation Center. They will make full use of existing advantages in resources, strengthen cooperation for mutual-benefit and win-win results, to help China’s IC industry leapfrog. 

So far IC PARK has attracted more than 80 chip-related companies, including GigaDevice, Microvo, OmniVision, Horizon Robotics and so on. In 2019, the firms in IC PARK generated output of about 20 bn yuan, accounting for 40% of Beijing’s total production value and about 8% of those of China, becoming one of the main forces that promote the independent innovation of the China’s IC industry.

IC PARK, Beijing-based and world-oriented, has established 6 innovation centers in South Korea, Australia, Europe, Israel and other countries. By pooling global resources for IC innovation and entrepreneurship, it will promote the development of China’s IC industry, promote the innovative development of China’s IC industry, and help build Beijing into an international innovation center.
