On May 14, ZGC Information Valley and Suzhou High-speed Railway New Town held a signing ceremony for the Innovation Center at the headquarter of the ZGC Information Valley, with a view to integrate the innovation resources of Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou and set a national model for coordinated regional development and innovation. 

ZGC Information Valley, as an executor of regional cooperation task of ZGC Development Group, will stick to its previous development path and follow the operational ideas of “importing high-end technologies, building sci-tech service platforms, forming innovation atmosphere and set up collaborative development models”.

Based on the local industrial base and focusing on the upgrade of the industrial structure, the Innovation Center will take the Internet of vehicle as its core, supported by the technologies of 5G, AI and intelligent driving as well as sci-tech services. It will become a national model of collaborative regional development and innovation by effectively and fully combining outside high-end innovation resources and the resources endowment of Xiangcheng District in Suzhou city.

In the future, Suzhou Innovation Center could utilize the global resources of Z-Park’s innovation network to effectively serve Suzhou, linking Shanghai and Beijing and eventually opening up the innovation corridor of “Beijing-Suzhou-Shanghai”.

It will establish an exchange platform and exhibition window for collaborative innovation among Beijing, Suzhou and Shanghai, featuring high-quality and efficient services, high-end and innovative business models, and intelligently operated business premises.

Suzhou Innovation Center aims to build a collaborative innovation and achievement transformation highland, and set a benchmark for high-quality development and innovation for the integration of Yangtze River Delta, facilitating the integrated development of Beijing-Taijin-Hebei, the Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

About the Innovation Center of Suzhou٠ZGC Information Valley

In the first phase, the Innovation Center of Suzhou٠ZGC Information Valley plans to set up an innovation exhibition center, a rainforest space, offices for sci-tech firms, supporting facilities and other functional areas in the Tiangong Building, which has 30,000 square meters of usable floor area, in the High-speed Railway New Town.

By importing 5G, AI, big data, cloud computing and other innovation resources related to the Internet of vehicles and sci-tech services, Suzhou Innovation Center plans to build a test zone for autonomous vehicles, a demonstration zone for smart vehicles and intelligent transportation applications and etc., so as to lead the innovative development of Suzhou City.

In the later phases, Suzhou Innovation Center plans to drive the development of 150,000 square meters of business premises and 135 mu of land, in order to strengthen the integrated growth with the Innovation Center of Yangtze River Delta (also a project in partnership with ZGC Information Valley).
