On April 13 of 2020, the ZGC Group successfully issued the first tranche of Super & Short-term Commercial Paper (SCP), with the credit rating as AAA, in the amount of 500 million yuan, at the rate of 1.87% and the duration of 240 days.

The SCP was warmly welcomed by investors. This successful issuance hit a “double new low”, that is “at a record-low coupon rate of similar SCPs, at the same maturity and with the same rating, issued by both local state-owned companies and entities operating in the Z-Park, in the interbank market in 2020”.  

The successful issuance of SCP demonstrates that the ZGC Development Group is highly recognized and has strong attraction in the capital market, which helps restructure its debt, lower its funding cost and enhance its visibility in the capital market, paving the way for its continuous capital operation later on.
