According to “Administrative Measures for the Construction of National Small and Micro Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship Demonstration Base by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology” and “Notice of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Recommending 2018 National Small and Micro Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship Demonstration Base”, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology reviewed and selected four “2018 National Small and Micro Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship Demonstration Bases” in Beijing, including the “ZGC Software Park Incubator” and “Zhongguancun Cloud Base”.

As an important part of software park industrial ecology, ZGC Software Park Incubator has become a typical incubator for China’s sci-tech firms in the software field, widely recognized by technology entrepreneurs in Beijing software industry. Meanwhile, as a pioneering park for overseas students in Haidian district, the Incubator helps them start businesses in China and provides them with multi-dimensional services. 

Since its establishment, the Software Park Incubator has served a total of 965 enterprises, attracted 183 start-ups, and successfully cultivated 10 listed enterprises. It has been recognized by Beijing Science and Technology Commission as a high-tech enterprise incubator base and a strategic emerging industry incubation base, by Beijing Economic and Information Technology Commission as the first batch of Beijing Small Business Entrepreneurship Base, by the Ministry of Science and Technology as a National Incubator for Class A Technology Enterprises.

Over the years, incubators have successfully incubated and nurtured many excellent technology enterprises. For instance, Beijing Sinovoice Technology co., Ltd., which focuses on the AI technology research and industrial application in the fields of intelligent speech, intelligent image, semantic understanding, biometric recognition and so on; Beijing Simbok Intelligent Technology co., Ltd., which is specialized in the sectors of intelligent identification and intellisense interaction; Beijing Golden Data Technology co., Ltd., which is engaged in R&D and industrialization of “real-time database management system” with independent IP rights; and Zhongguancun Technology Software co., Ltd, which is committed to the development and application of information resources with big data and cloud applications as the core. 

Being selected as one of “2018 National Small and Micro Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship Demonstration Bases” is the continuation and inheritance of the excellent performance of the incubator in providing services for small and micro firms, and also an important affirmation of its services for innovation enterprises and startups from enterprises and government agencies.

It will make steady progresses in entrepreneurial and innovative atmosphere, office environment, diversified services for enterprises and the industrial ecology, to foster new drivers, build new heights and write a new chapter for the industrial ecological development in Zhongguancun.
